This was a perfect mission for her..had she still been who she used to be. Zayna watched the others interacting with each other while keeping her eyes watching around them. She was in her right mind to just take what they needed and run. But the ensign knew better, and knew that even if she did somehow manage to pull it off, she’d be kicked further down in rank than she ever thought possible.

Instead, she stayed with the group. It wasn’t until Zuub spoke up about continuing the mission that she said a word.

“You’re right, we do need to. What good is it doing us standing around? Blending in, I think, has failed. There are probably many who know who we are and why we are here. We need these things, and we need them sooner rather than later. And I’d rather get out of this heat if it is all the same to the lot of you.”

Her eyes went wide when she finished. She hadn’t quite spoke up like that in a while. She hadn’t even spoken up in that way to the Admirals that had questioned her all those months ago. But it was this, or they might end up not having their home as they planned.
