Promotion to Lieutenant, position Chief Medical Officer - December 31, 2295.
On December 31, 2295, after one mission on the America involving the transport of a Dr. Nuress and the study of a plasma plague, Tegau was promoted to full Lieutenant and given the position of Chief Medical Officer. The mission had been a success, and Tegau discovered the exponential growth effects caused by eichner radiation on the plague. This little discovery nearly infected the ship, but the samples were able to be transported safely away in time.

BIOGRAPHICAL/PSYCHOLOGICAL/MEDICAL INFORMATION

Background:
Tegau grew up as a middle child of seven with her twin brother Tiernan. The oldest girl, she had certain privelages, but growing up she learned to devote much of her time quelling disputes and rivalries among her siblings. She grew quite adept at this conflict management, and in school was always well liked. She went on to enter Starfleet Academy and labored hard at her studies, working two jobs as well as taking a massive courseload to get herself through the Academy. Her parents helped when they could, but once out of the Academy, it became her helping them when she could.
She has shown to have an excellent work ethic as well as getting along well with people. Smart and self-driven, she came well recommended to her placement on the America, barely a year out of the Academy.

Likes: loves the sea, the outdoors, to sing, dance, and tell stories, to spend time with new people and listen to them and make up stories.

Dislikes: spiders, dusty, dark, damp places, waiting for long periods of time without knowing why. Fears transporters.

Strengths: Very good at improvisation and finding new ways around old problems without the neccessary tools. Also good at picking up various languages, though not too exceptional. She is inclined to volunteer for the dirty, hard, or somewhat dangerous jobs no one else wants to do.
