Episode 3: The Once And Future Con

Meditation.

It was the way of the Jedi. The way to reach into The Force, and feel it. Her eyes closed. Stalker opened her mind. She had never been as good at this as some others. She could never see the future. Sometimes the past or other present places., But, always in a fog that did her little good. Her lightsaber skills however along with her use of the The Force for telekenetics put her highly above many others.

The problem with meditation is, you were sometimes in your own world. She'd left the unruly group that had pulled off the Kuati Job. The theft of a star destroyer had been to say the least...challenging and profitable. But, now the once padawn turned mercenary had taken her leave and gone to earn more bounty's.

And here she was on a world..and seeing the same familiar faces.

Stepping out of the shadows, she had but one word.

"You..."

The answer from Tavlia was expected, as was the look. However, she now surveyed the group to see who else was present. There didn't appear to be any new faces Sayana recognized. "What's the payoff this time?" she inquired, a hint of curiosity present.

"No payoff but to save your skins?" Stalker found this rather humorous. If that were true, she could walk away and let them all die. But, she somewhat doubted the statement. None of them had survived this long by being completely stupid. Perhaps a little careless.,

His and Tavlia's statements about the Jedi irked her. She said again for all to hear. "There are no more, Jedi. There are only those that survive.." she turned to Caleb. "Everything has a payoff. You take bad situation and make it tolerable for all concerned. The bounty hunters after us no doubt have bounty's on them. So we simply select our targets, turn the tables, and get them to sell each other out.."
