PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 155lbs
Hair: Light red with natural blonde streaks due to birthmarks on scalp, straight and short in an almost boyish style.
Eyes: Dark blue with grey circles around the iris's and orange flecks. Isi wears little round gold rimmed glasses to correct her short sightedness whose frames are made of shape memory alloy. She thinks they add to her librarian mystique.
Skin: Pale pink skin tone with freckles almost everywhere.
Other distinguishing Features: Naturally pointy tips to her canines (otherwise normal and well cared for teeth). She has numerous birthmarks all over her torso which she is not proud of.

Usual Style/Clothes: Isi likes to wear things that show off her legs, she is quite proud of them. She tends to wear short skirts and shorts a lot in the summer and tight jeans in the winter. She likes wearing guys button down shirts, for the comfort and convenience, yet has been known to enjoy t-shirts, especially ones that have slogans or images that reflect her dark British sense of humor. Her style tends towards the tomboy much of the time.
Health: Isi is in good health generally. She is likely to have issues with her joints later in life due to all the crazy things she tends to get up to in her spare time, but for now she is enjoying her youth while she has it. Isi is one of those annoying people with a very slow metabolism. She can seemingly eat anything and everything and never put on weight. This coupled with her naturally low blood pressure has lead to several doctors nearly mis-diagnosing her with various ailments in the past. However these things are normal for the girl and not out of place. She is happy and healthy just as she is and needs neither statins nor artificial insulin. Fortunately both her mother and Isi herself are well aware of these things.
Mental Health: Isi is fairly well adjusted mentally, given her life so far.
Appearance: Tall, skinny, angular features, very 'old world' looking, attractive in that way that doesn't require makeup and is usually spoiled by it. She has a fairly flat chest, which is likely a side effect of her skinniness. She has long thin fingers and feet that appears a little too small for her height, yet manage to carry her about in good order. She is slim of hips and has the appearance of speed and perhaps flightiness about her, which is somewhat deceptive as she has never been an accomplished runner and is not a particularly nervous individual.

POWERS AND ABILITIES: Isi is able to manipulate time to a small extent around her. She can slow it down to allow herself more time to act or reach a goal, even stop its passage completely for very brief periods. She can possibly develop this further; however this will take a lot of practice and experimentation.

BACKGROUND:
Personality: Isi is usually teasing, smiling, being sarcastic or quietly watching things. She is not quick to judge; though once she has set her mind to a certain way of thinking it’s hard to shift her. She has a tendency to judge people on their individual merits and actions rather than rely on stereotypes or hearsay. She is a self confessed geek, enjoying the internet a little too much, some computer games, devours books with a passion and fervor and likes to understand things of all kinds. She takes things apart just to see how/if she can do it and often even manages to return them, mostly, to their original state. She is a bit of fan girl at times, especially for some of the stuff that her dad sparked an interest in like old British TV and music. She takes friendship very seriously and forms very strong bonds with people. Thinks deeply, feels deeply and is a sensitive soul, something she tries to hide as often people have tried to use these things against her. She wears her personal masks well, though once you have her trust and her love she will go very well out of her way to help you if necessary. She is pleased with her strangeness, her difference and is not about to start to conform to the norm anytime soon. She is firmly of the belief that 'normal people' are one of the major problems with the world and it would all be much better if everyone was both a bit of a freak and willing to admit to it in public. Preferably with hand signals and cake.

Quirks: Quoting bizarre shows most people haven't heard of, going off on tangents often involving small cute furry mammals, being distracted, sticking up for what she believes to be right.
Hobbies: Isi likes the internet, archery, hanging out with her friends, boxing, reading, krav maga, the internet, 15thC European swordsmanship, a little wrestling, the internet, computer games, logic puzzles, randomly causing confusion in others, the internet, some TV shows, comics, the internet, music, movies and teasing those who deserve it (along of course with those who quite clearly do not and never will).
History: Isi was born on an RAF base, which is near Dusseldorf in Germany. Her father, who was a Squadron Leader at the time, was based there. Both her older brother and younger sister were similarly born 'on base'. Isi's mother was German born; her parents had met in a small bar in Bern while James was on leave. They moved back to the UK shortly after Heide was born, James taking a training position at RAF Linton-On-Ouse in Yorkshire. The base was pleasant enough and James seemed happier now that he was back on his home soil. Rosamund for her part was happy to be with her husband and children, was very understanding of his work and did not complain. They moved several times since then, including one two year posting as a training officer at CAF Cold Lake in Alberta Canada. Growing up as a forces kid Isi learned to make friends well and to judge others with clarity and care. She and her siblings picked up a habit for getting into trouble, which her father partially curbed by enrolling his kids in various after school classes. Isi found she enjoyed boxing and branched out into other physical sports and martial arts, including a stint with a re-enactment group while stationed at RAF Odiham in Hampshire England thanks in large part to her brother Geoff.
When Isi was thirteen, her father was assigned to the team testing and demonstrating the Eurofighter Typhoon. The family found themselves living near Nellis air force base in the US where some of the testing was going on, along with demonstration to NATO powers of the new aircrafts capabilities.
It was during such a flight that James Black lost his life when the Typhoon he was flying broke up mid flight. It is suspected that there was some kind of collision involving another aircraft that caused the accident, however no details have been released even to the family and the incident remains classified.
The family was devastated. Rosamund went into a mild depression lasting a little under a year. They were able to live very comfortably from James's pension and the RAF death benefits, yet that was of course no consolation to the loss of a father.

The family moved out of USAF Nellis shortly after the accident, they had been granted permanent residence status and decided, at least for the moment, to stay in the US. One of Rosamunds friends at the base had taken pity on her and found her a place to stay with relatives in Stockbridge, Michigan and the family found themselves staying in a rather palatial manse on the southern edge of the city with a very nice older couple who were exceedingly kind and helped them all through the worst consequences of the accident and the subsequent heartbreak.

The decision to settle in a house of their own in the nearby city of Neptune came shortly thereafter. House prices were shockingly cheap, they could afford to buy something really very nice outright in the area and they didn't have to worry about finding work for a while if at all. It was a nice enough place to live for the moment. Leaving Stockbridge also meant putting some distance between Isi and a young man a year above her in high school who had taken more than a shine to her. He had decided that his infatuation was best expressed by cornering her and pressing his advances. Geoff had found out and things had nearly come to blows, between the two boys. However the young man in question found Isi again in school shortly thereafter and once again attempted to press himself upon her. Isi had been forced to defend herself, against her better judgment. After breaking two fingers of her unwanted suitor’s hand Isi had found herself expelled from school, something she is far from proud of.
