So what direction are you all wanting to take this in regards to the powers stuff. Are you all planning on keeping stuff 'on the down low' so to speak or are you wanting some big event to happen to makes the fact that some of them can do the things they can do public knowledge?
I ask because the way Joseph's mindset is right now he is not trying at all to be subtle about what he can do and has no fear of being exposed which could potentially ruin the game for other people if you were wanting things to be subtle and secretive.

Whatever characters do, they do. Joseph just might find himself an interesting target if he does not want a secret ID. Again, that's up to you and your character. Just remember, for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

I plan to run David right now as someone who doesn't know he has powers. This will open the door for all sorts of funny incidents where he can't figure out what's happening at first and add to the character's growth,

That's cool. Some people found out they had them a few weeks before school. Others didn't. I am looking forward to seeing how each handles the "problems."
