OOC: I addressed this on the OOC but we did biology last year, so I'm making this year chemistry barring an objection....

Mr. Bell, looked sharply over at Sasha and Oliver, indicating that they should quiet themselves when he called out, "David Ray and Jessica Domke, you will be partners."

Although Jessie outwardly put on a show of toughness by kicking at the ground and shuffling over apparently angrily to the indicated table with her arms crossed, there was a distance that was in her eyes. Something vacant or missing. Pointedly, she looked at the wall before David even sat near her.

Oliver lowered his voice. "I just ... I had to get away after Allie ... after what happened. So, I found a long string of out of town sports clinics that needed counselors and got out of town." He looked away, blushing a little.

David heaved a sigh and went over and sat. Lovely. One of his favorite person's and that was saying very little. He and Jesse weren't exactly friends since the whole mess with Katie. He was thoroughly regretting it. Not just for the loss of Moira, but the hurt that his and her stupidity had caused them all.

He forced himself to look at Jesse then turned his attention to the teacher. This was going to be an interesting partnership.

Sasha nodded, "I understand." She whispered, then shifted in her seat, turning so that she faced their teacher, watching Oliver out of the corner of her eye. Hoping that he'd realize that she'd only turned away to keep the teacher from getting upset with them again.

She waited quietly, stealing glances at him when she thought that neither he or Mr Bell was watching while the rest of the teams were assigned. Opeing her notebook when Mr Bell started the lecture portion of the class.

Oliver nodded, grateful for the silence after saying so much. _Let's see what Mr. Bell has in store for us. And how David and Jessie fare._

OOC: The purpose of this thread was to establish Sasha and Oliver as study partners. We've gotten that. We can close it out here, move on to setting up a study group, or fast forward to the next day and Josh discovering the lab partnerships as folk want.

Jessie could feel David's eyes upon her. She did not know why he was staring. But she could feel it and it was getting more than a little unnerving. She did not like David. She never did. He had dumped Rachel, one of her best friends, when she disappeared. Then, he started to date Katie, another one of her best friends and then cheated on her with Moira, causing Jessie no end of heartache as Moira was her coven leader. Did he think that he was going to try and date her now? Was that it? Well, if that was it, he certainly had another thing coming. She whirled around and quietly growled, "Don't even think of it, Ray."

Mister Bell did not seem to take any notice of what was going on between Jessie and David or Sasha and Oliver. He merely continued his pairings, happily naming names, always one boy with one girl....

"Uhh..okay.." David said not sure even what the hell Jessie was talking about. He glanced at Bell and noticed the pairings of boy girl. What was this turning into, some kind of social experiment?
