Evening -

It was time. The Neptune League had to do something. They had been stagnant too long. They had not patrolled all summer. Zak knew this and Beverly had reminded him of that fact. However, with Allie having died, Zak had succumbed to a slight depression, something for which he would not admit. However, if the League was to stay together. If it was to function, Zak had to lead.

Therefore, Zak sent out the notices. The League was going to run a patrol. However, this time, it would be different. Allie was gone. Moira was gone. The small red headed hero had not been seen in awhile. Only Epsilon, Templar, Tara, and Mercury. He could not forget Control. Beverly had no powers but she was able to help with the technology. In some ways that made her more important than the rest.

He sat in a new abandoned house. The customary circles of candles were lit and Epsilon, as usual, had arrived early. No cat would be slipping in the roof anymore. He could feel the animals. Allie's power still contained within him. The rats would alert him to a new presence.

Epsilon arrived before him. How unsurprising. Under his mask, Oliver suppressed a grin. It was a warm night, so his head-to-toe black raiment left him perspiring heavily. A summer filled with hockey and the advent of football practice left him used to that condition. He tipped his wide-brimmed cap and said, "Hello, Epsilon. Good to see you again."

"Nothing, sadly. I wrote a couple letters over the summer. No answer." He sighed. "I guess that means you haven't heard anything either?"

[Sasha Madison]

The months off had, for Sasha, dragged on in a seemingly endless fashion. She'd gamed with the boys, visited her therapist, and experimented with her powers. Luckily she'd only had the one mishap, that'd resulted in her being stranded in San Francisco and hospitalized over night. She'd been grounded behind that little stunt, since she had refused to tell her parents why she'd been gone all night.

When the notice came, she knew that helping protect those without abilities, and there by honing her own made her life slightly less worthless so knew she'd attend. The day of the meeting, she arrived at the hangout without fanfare, as was her custom. Appearing in the room, garbed in dark clothing, her fair hair hidden under a ski cap, and her collar folded up to partially disguise her face.

Seeing the two boys at the front of the room, she gave a slight nod, "Epsilon. Templar." She said gravely, blue eyes flickering from the one to the other. "Are we the first ones here?" She didn't really care one way or the other, but she was trying one the techniques her therapist had been teaching her. It was supposed to help her be more engaging, but in this instance she was just trying to play the game, not from any real desire.

It wasn't long after Sasha came in that the door opened again.

A quiet Whirlwind dressed in a black motorcycle suit walked in. Wordless, he leaned against the wall. David's thearapy had made him a quieter person of late. He still felt very alone without Moira.

Control followed. She took in who was there and nodded to Epsilon. "So, let's do this." Her voice was upbeat, and more commanding then before.

OOC: whoohoo! the band's back together! Great to "see" you all again!

Templar nodded politely to Mercury and offered a brief "hello", unwilling to be more demonstrative due to her reservedness. He walked over to Control and Whirlwind offering a handshake to the former and a fist bump to the latter.

"Good to see you both here."

"We're here." Whirlwind stated, his heart not really into it as he returned the fist bump.

Shaking the young hero's hand, Control gave a nod, her face hidden behind the black mesh. "Good to see you too, and knowing we're finally going to get off our butts and do something here." Control looked at Epsilon, then the others. "So, this is who we have left, right? Where's Tara?"

[Sasha Madison]

The sight of Tara in the white nurse's outfit had Sasha's eyebrows lifting in surprise, the barest hint of a smile ghosting over her lips before it vanished just as quickly as it'd first appeared. But at least the other girl's question had saved her from having to ask what the plan was for them tonight. Demanding answers wasn't exactly her forte these days. She'd always been shy, but these days she was worse than just shy she was withdrawn from just about everything.

"I'm ready." Sasha murmured, taking a step or two forward to accept the communication device when it was offered, fitting it into her ear, then started out after the others.
