Sasha's gaze flew back to meet Josh's, her blue eyes wide with surprise, and dawning pleasure before she lowered them again, but her hand stayed under his. Josh's unwavering attentions towards her had done wonders for her battered ego. Not that she was anything like she had been before the fiasco with Micheal all those months ago. The more recent fight with her brother hadn't helped to restore her sense of fun. "Same bat time?" She said, a teasing smile flitting ever so briefly over her face. "I should." She didn't add anything about how relieved her mother and father were over the fact that got out of the house for something other than school and visits to her therapist.

Sasha's gaze flickered when Josh gestured at the field below them, caught sight of the number 72 on the back of one of the jerseys, grimaced and looked away, her soft mouth gone hard, when she pressed her lips tightly together. "It is." She agreed, escaping into fantasy was the closest to fun that she had these days. She was still much quieter even within the gaming group than she had been, especially when Steven started in on her.
