Ashley Avery swung her head towards the field as she watched her squad practice and the football team practice. Her medium length straight blond hair, cold blue eyes, a hawkish nose, looked like a statue as she stared down the scene. She had had plans for David Ray. He was going to be the starting quarterback and tradition dictated that the head cheerleader and the starting quarterback be an item. Yes, David was likely beneath her, only being a sophomore, but sometimes one had to do their duty. Besides, he was likely to be good in bed. He already dumped Katie Marsh and allegedly got that floozy Moira pregnant. So, he wasn't a prude. That was a good.

But now, she stood in disbelief as her underling, Lisa was blowing kisses to Oliver Touissant who appeared to be the starting quarterback. It was enough to make her sick. Both Lisa and Oliver were goody two shoes. If Tank had been the quarterback, though the boy was a meat head, it would be tolerable. After all, she could likely be seen publicly with him and see someone else on the side. But this was too much to bear. She was going to have to do something about it. Yes, she would have to make Lisa's life a living hell and start working on a way to break the two up.

She looked over her assets. Katie Marsh was rumored to have been interested in Oliver. No. She would not likely do anything. She had that bubbly personality. Jessica Domke was no friend of hers and it was all she could do to keep her off varsity by giving her the head of the JV Cheerleaders. Who else could there be....?

Her vitrol was immediately taken out on Lisa. "Gardner! Pay attention to us, not the boys! Get those arms straight! Honestly, we have to look like a unit, not like we're hugging our boyfriends...."
