Description:
David is a country boy from Montana with an attitude to match. He is average height for his age. Likes to wear T-shirts and jeans with either cowboy boots or tennis shoes, He sometimes wears a flannel shirt and cowboy hat depending on his mood either together or intermixed. His hair is over his ears and brown. He sometimes has a scanty beard if he forgets to shave.
Personality:
David upfront is friendly and kind, but in a fight he holds nothing back. He tends to avoid bad crowds not wanting to jeopardize his chances for college or possibly pro football. If pushed he can be a little violent, but he never looks for it. He gets nervous around tests and certain subjects like math. He’s had girls like him in grade and middle school but was a little slow and never picked up on pursuing anything with anyone. He’s sometimes a risk taker depending on the circumstances. He can be a loyal friend once you earn his trust.
Power:
Whirlwind discovers that he has the ability to create wind. This will start as small gusts that can move things and then progress to larger ones that can knock people down etc. In the future the wind might be manipulated to increase density to block projectiles such as bullets or provide some sort of rotating shield. Other progressions may appear later on as GM permits.
Background:
David comes from Billings Montana. Douglas Ray his father was principal of a small middle school with an impressive educational track record. So impressive was it, he received an offer from Neptune to become the new high school principal. Douglas jumped at the chance and packed up his family to move east. His wife not very happy but supportive of her husband left a bleak real estate career only to find an even worse situation in Neptune. Currently she is not working regularly.
The family settled in Neptune and bought a house on the east side. While David wishes he was in a better place, he hopes to do well enough to be noticed by a college recruiter someday. He wants to impress his father, but it’s hard as Douglas spends so much time buried in his work. It’s also hell having your Dad as your principal.
David has played football in junior high and is semi-experienced with a good arm and understanding of the game. He received the nickname ‘Bullet’ when he crashed through a defensive line in his second game in middle school and ran forty yards without being stopped to give his team a game winning touchdown. He continued that same performance in several other games with various yardages and blocking coverage.
Hobbies:
Football, baseball, swimming, cars and monster trucks, riding horses, dirt bikes. He also loves semi trucks and if football doesn’t pan out is considering being a long haul trucker someday like his uncle. He’s looking forward to getting a license and building a real classic car or off-road vehicle someday.
