LIKES: Elliot gets a thrill from helping people. Seeing the change he can make in the lives of those who need his help brings him joy. The real passion though is the hustle and bustle that comes from the emergency room.

DISLIKES: It takes a quite a bit to get Elliot to dislike something. Naturally caring and altruistic, anything that is selfish or self-righteous will grind like sandpaper.

LIMITATIONS: Being freshly graduated and off to his first duty station, Elliot has little real world experience. The simulations in school can only teach you so much.

STRENGTHS: It’s two sided, being a new and having no experience means he is a clean slate, ready to learn and bring forth fresh ideas.

QUIRKS: He talks to himself. People say that makes you crazy, but Elliot insists it keeps people sane. He doesn’t really fidget, but when there is a lot of brass in the room, Elliot fidgets like crazy; it is probably an allergy.

HOBBIES/INTERESTS: Reading, cooking, new experiences, the common Terran stereotype. Elliot likes music, loud and deafening. A good scotch and classical music to drown out a long day, doctors orders.

AMBITIONS: Elliot is striving to be a CMO. Not just a chief on small research ship, but the Flagship of the federation. THE Chief.

MEDICAL PROFILE: Growing up with James, Elliot has had his bumps and bruises. According to James, all the wrestling and pain was “Making him stronger”, Elliot didn’t see it that way.


CHARACTER HISTORY:
The second son born to the Hatchets, Elliot was unremarkable. He attended the schools his parents sent him too, and blended in. When he was thirteen, tragedy struck. In a quiet part of town, the Hatchets were attacked. Elliot was guarded by his brother, and didn’t see much; he heard it all. The spark was cast into the tinderbox of his soul, but he didn’t know what it was.

Life was drastically different after that cold November day. It was one home after the next, each one different from ‘home’. Elliot didn’t understand why his mother never woke up and why he couldn’t sleep in his bed, or his room. At least he had his brother, home was where he was now. As the years moved on, Elliot and James stuck together through thick and thin. James was the more aggressive of the two, as well as larger. He had the upper hand in most of the brotherly wrestling matches, but Elliot was spry and won every once in a while. (Maybe James let him, who knew for sure.) James aspired to go to Star Fleet, and Elliot wanted to follow his brother. He wasn’t a fighter like his brother, but was interested in the sciences. Somewhere along the way, Elliot found what the tinderbox was full of, a fire to heal.

At the Academy, Elliot had the basic officers training, getting pointers from James about all the weapons. Elliot qualified, by some graces, because he always managed to have some kind of incident when weapons were involved. Even through Academy, Elliot stuck with his older brother, bar fight, and wingman, thick and thin, the Hatchets were a name to know.
